Mr Kwek Mean Luck is the Deputy Secretary (Industry) of the Ministry of Trade and Industry. He was awarded a PSC-OMS scholarship to pursue his undergraduate studies in law in Cambridge University, where he graduated with a triple first. He was awarded the Lee Kuan Yew Scholarship to pursue a Masters of Law at Harvard University. He began his career in the Supreme Court as a Justices’ Law Clerk, working for the Chief Justice and the Court of Appeal, and was later a Senior Assistant Registrar and District Judge. He has served in the charity sector for a number of years, working with children and juvenile delinquents. He sits on boards of several public agencies and companies.
